About Us
Our History
Hoosier Pallet LLC was established in the year of 2000. It started with only a few employees and has grown to over 70
employees. We started building pallets by hand with precut lumber purchased from lumber suppliers. Over the years we have expanded our operations to include our own sawmill, cut stock operation and automated pallet assembly lines. By continuously investing in the different divisions of the company it has allowed us to more easily control all the steps involved in manufacturing a quality wooden pallet.
Our Capabilities
Our wide range of equipment with cutting edge technology allow us to produce many different styles and sizes of pallets. We have multiple production lines which allows us to quickly react to any needs a customer may have. Below is a list of production lines and capabilities we have.
Our new pallet production department consists of six automated production lines as well as multiple workstations for custom pallet and crate assembly.
In our lumber manufacturing department, we operate four lumber processing lines with different capabilities to process all dimensions of lumber, both softwood, hardwood, and panel products.
To assure consistent supply of hardwood we also operate three hardwood sawmills that produce hardwood lumber used in our plant.
Other secondary process equipment includes two kilns for heat treating, a dip tank for treating lumber for mold prevention, and three CNC routers.
We operate a pallet recycling division where we repair or dismantle pallets. This allows us to provide a lower cost option to customers in certain situations and also helps customers with removal of broken pallets in their facilities.
In January 2025 we acquired a local trucking company. This allows us to control and assure on time delivery of customer orders.
We have produced pallets andcrates in widths and lengths from 15 inches to over 16 feet. We provide heat treated pallets that comply with the ISPM-15 International Standards. If you need a special pallet, crate, or other wood product packaging, we can do it!
Our Services
We provide many valuable services.
We can provide inventory management at the customer location to ensure they have an adequate supply of product at all times. We do physical inventory at the customer location and replenish the inventory based on the customer's min/max numbers.
We offer pallet design and analysis. This analysis can at times help with cost savings due to the ability to redesign of a pallet.
We offer dropped trailer service at the customer location to remove scrap pallets.
Our goal is to make our customer's pallet purchasing as easy as possible. We do this by creating a program that fits seamlessly in your operation.
